Another invaluable connection

We’re so thrilled to be collaborating for the first time with Desiree Cook and I AM YOU 360 in Tucson! Desiree and her team have established a wonderful institution focused on helping impoverished youth and families in Arizona. Their tireless dedication to creating better lives for society’s most vulnerable members is a monument to grassroots charitable foundations. I implore everyone, if you have the means, look into I AM YOU 360 and search yourself for ways in which you can help them help others.

The End of the Tunnel organization was recently contacted in an effort to seek out struggling individuals deserving of immediate aid, which is exactly what we do! I contacted Desiree immediately, and I’m excited to be scheduling an interview with at least one of their many valued tiny home residents. DO NOT miss our Christmas newsletter where I will be back in Tucson to personally interview and convey the voice of someone who has been on both sides of the spectrum, to educate us all on the intangible benefits of the charity you all provide. Updates:

I know many of you have been awaiting some news on Reuben’s case, and we’re working with Dallas County to get him on track to attain a home, job, and new prosthesis. I wish I could say something more significant than, “we’re working on it,” but unfortunately, that’s all I can offer for an update at this time.

Homeless Dave was spotted again. He still has no interest in reconnecting with his daughter in Tallahassee, and I still have no interest in giving up on him. I’m happy to say we have a crack team of teenage social media gurus working to find his family. We’re coming up on our first anniversary, and adding one more name to the “Out of the Tunnel” list would be fantastic!

This reminds me of an idea that came into the group months ago—a comprehensive list of homeless folks whose families might be looking for some glimmer of hope. It was just another idea that seemed logical to people who don’t live in the tunnel but failed to pass the perspective test.

A stocking-stuffer without the stocking…

If you’re running low on terrible gift ideas, please consider gifting a one-year subscription to The Tunnel newsletter for your loved ones. You can take “show them you care” to a whole new level!

Thank you again for your continued support—humbly and sincerely—thank you.
